United Hatzalah's ALS (Advanced Life Support) Ambucar is a licensed rapid-response emergency vehicle driven by our most active paramedic and doctor volunteers. The car ― equipped with emergency lights, sirens, hospital-grade medication, equipment, and an Advanced Monitor Defibrillator ― enables these highly trained volunteers to respond to emergencies rapidly and efficiently, regardless of weather and road conditions. Moreover, during rocket attacks and other security escalations, Ambucars are a safer mode of transport than e-bikes and Ambucycles. Finally, the ALS Ambucar is specially equipped to drive on steep slopes and cross rocky paths, enabling our volunteers to rescue patients from off-road areas, stabilize them, and bring them to the nearest ambulance access point.
