Message to sponsors

United Hatzalah is committed to finding innovative solutions to logistical challenges, going to great lengths to identify and deploy the most advanced vehicles available to give every trauma victim the greatest chance of survival. We use specially equipped ATVs to respond to injured or stranded hikers in remote locations. ATVs are agile enough to climb steep slopes, cross rocky terrain, and surmount obstacles blocking the road, enabling our medics to reach and provide medical treatment to those in need without delay.

Marked with distinctive United Hatzalah decals, a siren, and emergency lights, United Hatzalah’s ATVs bring a team of dedicated volunteers, as well as advanced medical, search-and-rescue, and communications equipment to the injured, saving precious minutes. Once stabilized, the patient is transported on the front-mounted stretcher to the ambulance waiting at the nearest access point.

United Hatzalah’s Minilance-Plus vehicles are licensed rapid-response emergency cars. Fitted with sirens and emergency lights, Minilance-Plus vehicles fill the operational gap between Ambucycles and ambulances, allowing volunteer medics and organizational personnel ― who prefer cars over motorcycles for their daily commute ― to carry all the medical gear found in an Ambucycle while going about their daily routine in all weather conditions.

The Minilance-Plus is a compact United Hatzalah branch car. It brings a team of up to five volunteers from the same United Hatzalah branch ― who are either carrying out a lifesaving shift together or are newly onboarded volunteers on supervised calls alongside a veteran medic ― to local emergencies.

On average, each United Hatzalah Minilance-Plus responds to 90 medical emergencies each month ― including household injuries, car accidents, heart attacks, emergency births, terror attacks, and more. We must urgently increase our Minilance-Plus fleet to ensure that local volunteer teams are prepared and equipped to respond to all medical emergencies.
